Tidings is a contemporary Arabic Naskh typeface that blends the authenticity of traditional structure with the precision of modern typographic rhythm. It is built on a clear and steady baseline, offering excellent legibility for contemporary publishing while preserving the fluidity and beauty of classical Naskh.

Tidings is designed as a variable font, featuring two primary axes:

• Weight Axis: Ranges from ultra-light to heavy, giving designers full flexibility to choose the perfect weight without the need to install multiple separate files.
• Swsah Axis: Allows control over the length of descending strokes in letters such as ي، ن، ل, enabling better adaptability to different layouts and enhancing visual harmony.

With these capabilities, Tidings offers an effective solution to the limitations of traditional Arabic fonts, which were often released in a single static weight — freeing designers to explore a broader range of expressive and typographic uses.
